This workshop is for doctoral students who wish to develop confidence to write as an expert. The aim of this workshop is to explore how expertise is demonstrated in writing in ways that are convincing to the intended readership. By analysing how language shapes the writer’s position, students will be equipped to present their research persuasively and to highlight their contribution. The workshop is two hours long.
