Workshop: Focused academic language for PGRs with lower level of English language proficiency

This workshop is for doctoral students who struggle to communicate clearly in their academic writing. The particular focus of this workshop is to explore common and basic errors, especially at sentence level. The aim of this workshop is to provide students with the tools to identify and remedy common and basic language errors in their writing. Using frequent student errors, students will be guided to develop analytical linguistic tools to apply to their own writing in order to increase the accuracy and clarity of their writing. The workshop is three hours long.
