This workshop is for doctoral students who wish to develop criticality in their academic writing. Criticality is one of the most common and most confusing terms in education. In this workshop, criticality will be explored as a disciplinary value on the one hand, and on the other hand, as a feature that is manifested variously across different parts of a thesis. By exploring respective language and structures, students will be better positioned to show criticality in their writing. The workshop is two hours long.
